Helping You
to Get on Your Feet Again

Standard Podiatry Orthotics:

Standard Podiatry orthotics are made in a laboratory and not really handmade by the podiatrist, or even molded on a plaster cast/form. Dr. Janson specializes in creating orthotics that are custom-fit for you and are specialized for your particular treatment. Your results will be amazing.

Wheat and Pasta

These two carbohydrates increase cholesterol levels and aid in obesity because of the high amounts of sugar they make in the body. Dr. Janson's diet, for decades, has been to cut out bread and pasta for diabetics so they can lose weight and get off of insulin. She knows how to help diabetics with foot care problems, as this is a major area of her practice.

Tip: Nail Fungus

How can you get rid of it? Only by pure diligence. First try cleaning your feet twice a day in peroxide, wear clean socks everyday, and buy new shoes (throw out your old ones that were harboring the fungus). If this doesn't work in two months, Dr. Janson sells a fungal medicine(see her own testimonial) that guarantees to get rid of it or come for our Laser treatment package.

Fitting Orthotics

Experienced Analysis by Video

Carefull analysis of movement is only possible through a bio-mechanical exam on a treadmill, not by a machine that measures only pressure points. A full analysis of the rotation of the hips, ankles, knees, and feet is neccessarry to make a full determination for an orthotic prescription.

World Class Doctor of Podiatric Medicine

Dr. Kristina Janson has been in private practice for over 30 years. A graduate from the Philadelphia School of Podiatry, Dr. Janson is a specialist in creating truly handmade orthotics. She has her own lab on premises and makes adjustments in the treatment room (no waiting sending them out to a lab). ONE OF THE FEW PODIATRISTS WHO MAKES ORTHOTICS BY HAND IN THE USA!

Diagnostic Posture and Bio-mechanical Examination

In order to make the right adjustment to a patient's posture to alleviate backache and pain in walking or running, the proper alignment and adjustment is needed. An electronic scanner, foot print, and any machine that measures pressure points cannot take in account the fourth dimension: MOTION! The right prescription for an orthotic can only be made by a thorough examination, such as looking at a patient walking and/or running, and a flexibility exam of the feet and ankle through static manipulation as well as in the hips and knees. A proper exam will take one hour or more; therefore Dr. Janson will not have insurance dictate her treatment.
